Your health information is private. This policy explains what Hayat Health collects, why, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect

Your name and contact details; the appointments you book; documents you choose to upload (such as lab reports and scans); consultation notes and prescriptions created by your doctor; and basic technical information needed to run the service securely.

How we use it

Only to provide your care: to let you book, to let your doctor treat you, to create your prescriptions and records, and to send you appointment confirmations and reminders. We do not sell your data.

Who can see your records

You can see your own records. A doctor can see the records and documents of a patient they have an appointment with, and only that patient. Access is enforced at the database level (row-level security). Verification documents and uploads are stored privately and shared only through short-lived, signed links.

Consent

When you book, you consent to a telemedicine consultation and to Hayat handling your health information for that care. We record the date of your consent. You may withdraw future consent by closing your account.

Keeping it safe

Data is encrypted in transit, stored on a managed, access-controlled database, and reachable only by you and the doctor caring for you. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Some records may be retained where the law requires it for medical care.
